Hoi,

Da wo bei mir die st felgen so rein gepasst haben hat er aber einiges andern mussen an die bremsen.
Aber die s felgen sehen aber nog besser aus als meinen st felgen.

A friend of mine has a white 2007 ADV and he has Magna Red 2008 details. Tankcovers, handcaps,snavel
Looking great... but I have no picture yet.
So be creative with the colours

Jep,
It start like everybody's bike in a box...

When he was home I started with this stuff

Wunderlich carbon hugger
Boxerdesign oilcovers
Touratech things...

After this we had the Acropovic... to make place for the 180 tyre

Now we have the place and I buy this wheels....

But the R1200S wheels doesn't fit in a 2008 ADV

First we must custom make this one to fit the S wheel

But we replaced also the brakes for two mm... This is nesserary because the touch the center off the wheel.

So... time for a testweekend like this...

The next thing was a Boxer design front. But this fit only for a 2007 ADV
My friends fixt it and now I have a custum made front. We need a week to customize it. And now it fits verry wel.

There are also the other mirrors from a F800GS

That's the short story....

What next on the program...
First me and my bike go on tour... France next week and on the end off the month... Italia, Autrich and Slovenia....

Than I plan Lucas wave brakes....

I have already a pair off it but the send me the wrong and the does'nt fit
There is a different for the 2007 and 2008 ADV.

Than I'm thinking an Ohlins or Wilbers. But The original WP are not so bad.
We shall see inthe mountens and we decide after the hollidays.

So I hope you can read my bad English

Hi Danny,

very nice Adventure you got!

I really love the wheels on that bike, also the mirrors do look a lot better than those serial equipped ones.
Only thing I would change still is the rear with case holders for the original Adventure cases. I recently saw some '08 Adventure with the standard GS rearend which looked a lot better cause you got "free" sides and the expensive exhaust is more highlighted.

I see your point, but the first use off this bike is travelling.... and the cases off the ADV are very good

I liked the idea with the mirrors - I bought these for my Adventure07.
But they didn't fit because the orginal one have a thread and the F800GS mirrors didn't have one. Do you know if I need an additional part to affix them? If yes, do you know the part no.?

I also bought the fitting of the F800GS. Only the upper part of the clamp that fits the handelbar, which fits the lower part on a Adventure08.
It's an original part of BMW and your dealer can find the part number.
