G650GS - weird problem

Hello everybody, recently i bought 2012 g650gs used, this morning was my first ride and i have come to a few surprises : Confused:

First, not always but often to be worried, when i put hard acceleration (when overtaking etc), at of no reason bike stops receiving power (throttle) and stalls, then stars again to receive speed. This cut of throttle sometimes produce that bike cut of power and i need to start by the road to start on bike again.

Second, i'm casually driving maybe 100km/h on 4-5k RPM... out of no reason , RPM goes to 8k (full) and light to change gear blinks. When i try to change gear, it wont let me, neither up no down.

Third, when i stop on red light, in neutral gear, a few seconds RMP are random, sometimes at 4k, sometimes at 5k and after 4-5sec it drops down to normal.

First, you should check battery connections as they sometimes loosen which causes such things.

Second, there could be a problem with the rpm sensor. In the F650 forum, someone had metal shavings there, also check its connections.

When i try to change gear, it wont let me, neither up no down.

The gear shift is mechanical only, so this is a different problem. While the motor is not running, it is normal that you cannot shift gears. You should check the clutch (see operating instructions how to adjust). If it works properly, it could be a serious and probably expensive problem with the gear shift.

Here is the problem...

On small acceleration, it cuts out power, then turns back on. RPM on dash goes to redline, but RPM of engine is normal (3-4k), and after i press on clutch, RPMs on dash is stuck on ~4k and engine is running normal. Any thoughts?
