Garmin Express updatet sich doch von selbst, da brauchts keine Ansage. Hin und wieder mal reinschauen, dann weiß man auch, ob es neue Updates fürs Gerät oder die Karten gibt.

Hallo Ludwig, Problem ist dabei das sich Garmin dazu nur selten auslässt, zumindest in letzter Zeit, steht meist nur dabei das sich diverse Änderungen ergeben haben.

ich nehme die Information der Updates sehr gerne auf und aktualisiere daraufhin mein System,
wohlwissentlich dass Garmin Express das selbst tun würde...

es gibt die neue Version 6.13.1.0

Garmin began rolling out Garmin Express v6.13.1 for the PC today. If you would like to update to the latest version, please visit the About page within the Settings of the Express application and select “Check for Updates to Express.” This version includes the following changes:

• Addressed an issue causing a high number of map update failures.

• For our devices that support SD cards, we’ve added a second storage meter to the Tools & Content page. This will display the used and remaining free space of an SD card that’s inserted into the device.
• Users with ANT devices can now select the Continue button to download a firmware update.
• Map updates should no longer fail for Australia/New Zealand devices with the TopoActive AU/NZ map.
• Other minor bug fixes and improvements.

• For our Fitness devices, if Express downloads a software update to the device during a sync, the user will get a notification that an update was downloaded and needs to be installed. Previously, the software update would get downloaded, but until it was physically installed, certain features of Express would not work with the device, such as installing CIQ Apps.
• We’ve added a hyperlink to the Safety Camera Purchase page. This link will direct the user to a FAQ that displays the coverage area for each region.
• Other minor bug fixes and improvements.
